Demonstration site. Meadow Early Learning is a fictional centre built to demonstrate this website template. The licence number, capacity and accreditation status shown are placeholders and describe no real facility. Nothing here should be relied on when choosing care for a child.
Nothing on this website is an offer of a place, a contract, or advice about choosing care for a child. The licence number, capacity, accreditation status, tuition figures, staff names and parent quotes are invented.

Using this website
This site is provided as-is, for demonstration. The regulatory concepts it describes — ratios, licensing, background checks, safe sleep, allergy management, illness exclusion, secure entry, incident reporting and accreditation — are described accurately in general terms, but rules change and vary by state. Confirm anything that matters with the Oregon Department of Early Learning and Care rather than with a website.
The colour and identity customizer on this site changes only what you see in your own browser. It cannot change what anyone else sees, and it does not alter the licence, ratio, medical or pickup information, which is deliberately excluded from it.
Content and images
Text and photography on this site are for demonstration. The generated photography depicts no real setting and no real child. Supporting photographs sourced from Pexels are credited in CREDITS.txt in the project repository and are used under the Pexels licence.
Enrollment terms, in summary
What a real centre of this kind would set out in its enrollment agreement:
- Fees. Tuition billed monthly in advance, the same twelve months a year, not pro-rated for holidays, closures or absence.
- Deposit. Two weeks' tuition, held and applied to the final month.
- Notice. Thirty days in writing, from either side. Your deposit covers the final two weeks. No exit penalty.
- Rate changes. Reviewed annually in June, effective the following January, with six months' written notice.
- Hours. 7:30am to 5:30pm, Monday to Friday. Late collection is a conversation, not a fee.
- Closures. Weekends, federal holidays and five professional-development days a year, published each August.
- Health. Immunisation records and any allergy or medical action plans must be complete before a first day. Exclusion criteria are published and applied identically to every family.
- Pickup. Only adults on your written, signed authorised-pickup list, with photo identification checked for anyone not known by sight.
- Ending a place. A centre may end a place where it cannot safely meet a child's needs, and only after a documented process, external advice at the centre's cost, and a meeting with you.
Liability
Because this is a demonstration site, no liability is accepted for reliance on anything it says. A real centre's terms would set out its insurance, its liability position and its complaints procedure in full.
Complaints
A concern about a real centre goes to its director first, and to the Oregon Office of Child Care if that does not resolve it — which you may do at any time, without the centre's permission and without telling them.
