What this website collects

Nothing. There is no analytics script, no advertising pixel, no cookie banner and no third-party embed on any page of this site. The tour form is a demonstration and does not submit anywhere.

The one thing stored in your browser is the demo customizer's settings — the colour, type pairing and business name you may have chosen — kept in localStorage under the key meadow.brand.v1. It never leaves your device, is not read by us, and clearing your site data removes it.

What a centre collects about your child

The rest of this notice describes what a real centre of this kind would hold, and is included so the demonstration is complete.

• Enrollment records — your child's name, date of birth, address, your contact details, your authorised-pickup list, and emergency contacts.
• Health records — immunisation status, allergies and their action plans, medical conditions, medication authorisations and administration logs, and your physician's details.
• Daily records — attendance, sign-in and sign-out times, sleep logs, feeding and nappy records for infants, and incident reports.
• Pedagogical documentation — observations, transcripts of what your child said, photographs and their work.
• Financial records — invoices, payments and subsidy correspondence.

Why, and on what basis

Enrollment, health and daily records are collected because Oregon licensing requires them and because they are how we keep a child safe. Pedagogical documentation is collected with your written consent, given at enrollment and withdrawable at any time without affecting anything else.

Photographs

• Photographs of your child inside the centre, for documentation, are covered by the consent you give at enrollment.
• Photographs used anywhere public — a website, a newsletter, social media — need a separate written consent, asked for each time, and a no costs nothing and is never mentioned again.
• We do not use children's faces in marketing. The photography on this website shows rooms, hands and light for that reason.
• Other families may photograph their own children at events. We ask that nobody photographs a child who is not theirs, and we say so out loud at every event.

Who it is shared with

• Your child's educators, and relief staff covering their room.
• The Oregon Office of Child Care, on inspection or where a report is required by law.
• Emergency services, where a child needs them.
• Child protection authorities, where an educator is required to report — which does not need your consent and where you will not necessarily be told first.
• Your child's receiving school, for the Pre-K transition summary, and only with your signature.

Nothing is ever sold, and nothing is shared for marketing.

How long it is kept

Enrollment and health records for as long as required by Oregon licensing after a child leaves, then securely destroyed. Financial records for seven years. Pedagogical documentation goes home with you when your child leaves — the folder is theirs, and we keep only what you have consented to us keeping.

Your rights

You can ask to see anything we hold about your child, at any time, without giving a reason, and you will get it that week. You can correct anything inaccurate. You can withdraw documentation and photography consent at any time. Ask the director.

Security

Paper records are locked. Digital records are on an access-controlled system with per-educator accounts. Entry codes are individual and revoked the day a family or an employee leaves.
